THey fucked my bucs. Giving them one of the hardest NFL schedules ... wtf

D:

No excuses though, they are in trouble.

The texans / titans game was epic.
It was one of the best games I've seen in a while. And Schaub is a beast.

As for the Cow"boys", It would be nice to see this team go on a 2 game losing streak. Very Happy

haha, they won't lose two in a row in "Jerry-land". If they do, Jerry Jones will cut all of those fuckers and just buy a new team. I bet that fool just about had a heart attack when the Giants pulled out the first victory there. I still firmly believe that the Boys didn't lose that game, Romo lost that game. He's the most overrated player in the NFL.

And yes, the Texans/Titans game was exactly what football should be. It was fucking amazing. I started watching it right after half time (I had been watching the Eagles massacre) and it was the most entertaining game I have seen in a while. Shaub looked real good and I had to eat my words. He's much better than I gave him credit for. Hell he's much better than Romo. But yeah, that game was great. The whole Jacoby Jones muffed PR thing still is gay, but it is what it is. Even though I still think the Titans are better coached and more talented all around, I'm secretly glad that they won. They have a fairly easy schedule and that's one of the tougher games they will have to play and in reality, they're ahead of schedule.

And the Bucs got raped on their schedule. It's like I said in my previous post, they'll be lucky to not go 0-8. They've got a lot of hard games ahead and a first year coach who think's that getting rid of the Cover 2 defense is a good idea. Personally, as a future coach, I don't like Cover 2 a whole lot, but when a team has used that as a base defense since the Dungy era and have drafted players to fit that system for years, it's retarded to make that change. Tampa ran cover 2 better than anyone ever has. "Tampa 2" is gone and that secondary reflects it.

What's even more scary is that they're ranked 4th overall in YPG on offense, 6th overall in pass yards, and 31st in YPG and PPG on defense. Something is fundamentally wrong with the defensive mindset there and it needs to be resolved quick before things sprial out of control!

Yeah that Texans game sucked. The D needs lots of help. It is a shame when a running back does that much damage to a team.

Cowboys are learning that running the rock is key for them this year.

Tampa just sux, enough said.

Houston - They didn't come out with the same intensity they did against the Titans. There defense didn't come out to play and let Jacksonville keep getting 1st downs. I see a lot of potential from this team though. With the Titans sucking it up in their division, they have a great chance of making the playoffs this year.
I don't see Jacksonville doing much damage this year, but anything can happen.

Cowboys - I was happy at the end of the half when the Panthers lead 7-0. I don't know why their coach likes to slow things down though, they decided to run and that didn't get them anywhere but 3 and outs giving the "boys" even more chances to win.
No matter how bad the cowboys are playing, they WILL score if Romo is in the game. It's just a matter of time.
This game however goes to the RB's. Give those men the game ball and suck their cocks Romo. They saved your ass big time.
Fun Fact: Felix Jones was averaging over 8 yards a carry before the game started. He only had 8 carries before getting injured and gained 94 yards...averaged 11.8 yards a carry.. wow.
Choice comes in and gains almost 5 yards a carry and scores a TD..

On a bright note; the Panthers defense should stay away from cover 2. They can't tackle for shit. They look awful and I'm glad they are in the Bucs division.

Buccaneers - I support my team 100%. But games like this Sunday make it hard to represent my team colors. I KNEW Leftwich was a bad pick up for this team. With as many picks as he has this year we were better off with Brian Grease's bitch ass. We should have pursued Jay Cutler harder then they did. But it's too late for that. I have no idea what Morris has in mind for this team but I'm really missing our Cover 2. Even with Kiffin no longer with the team, we should have stayed with what worked. This new defensive scheme is shit and teams are rolling all over us.
If we can't win next week against the Redskins (who lost the the freakin Lions) this week, I will cry like a little girl and ask the gods why am I a Buc fan??

Sup Heim =P

Okay, after looking over the Buccaneers remaining schedule, I have compiled my prediction for the wins/losses for the season.
And it doesn't look pretty.

I didn't put in any upsets because right now I have no faith in them, which who can blame me?
Anywho, I have them finishing 2-14 with a win against the Redskins (hopefully) and a win against the Panthers at home, they will lose in Carolina.., but if we can finish with the worst record in the league, and I think we should really think about finishing 0-16 for a chance at landing Tim Tebow in next years Draft.

We've never really had a good QB .. EVER.. except for Steve Young, and well, we put him on the bench and let him go .. idiots.

Will they try to pick Tebow up? Probably not, they'll go for someone else who they will not benift from.... I know this.

Next Week:

TB @ WAS - TB WINS
OAK @ HOU - HOU WINS
DAL @ DEN - DAL WINS (but im praying for a DEN WIN---If you haven't noticed by now.. I really hate the cowboys)

Denver dominated, exactly what I expected from the top rated D in the league. Romo couldn't clutch it out, exactly what I expected from the most overrated QB in the league.

The buc's almost pulled one out against the skins, almost, until that secondary got burned again. Johnson looked decent at QB, better than Leftwhich anyway, and at least it brought some energy back onto the field. I would rather see Freeman get in there, but I don't think they want to just throw him to the wolves.

And the Texans won. Doesn't say much beating the Raiders, but a win's a win no matter how you look at it. The D looked good and Shaub dominated. Next week will be a good test for that D though going heads up with Fitzgerald and Bolton.

Boys @ KC next week, they should win
Hou @ ARI next week, tough test. We'll see how that secondary holds up
Bucs @ PHI next week.... Healthy McNabb and Westbrook.... Sorry Primo

Houston shouldve won against ARI, but Rodgers-Cromartie clutched that shit out. GREAT game.

Dallas game was scary.. We're struggling bad.

And Tampa/Philly was better than I expected. I McNabb may put up 100 points! J/K primo, it was too easy!

^--She was asleep most of the way back to San Antonio, so I could have gotten away with drinking a few beers with ya if we would have stopped =P

Since you didn't reply or send me a pm with your contact info we didn't get a chance to do what we've been trying to do since our CS days widow lol

The traffic was horrible though through Fort Worth... didn't know OSU and Texas were playing that day D:

We were stuck in FW for 2 hours.. wtf

--------------------

Back on topic;

Dallas had a bye week but it will be interesting to see how they come off that over time win against Kansas City..
I really think Dallas might barley make the playoffs if they keep playing like this. I'm not sure what their schedule looks like from here on out, but they need to step up their game if they want to make it past the first round.

Bucs have lost the 2 games I thought they would win.. vs the Redskins and Panthers.. they almost had a chance against the Panthers but they just can't close out games and have no consistancy.

Texans looked good and as long as Shaub keeps playing like a bad ass, they will make the playoffs.

------

Off topic again -
Just got NFL 2k5 for regular xbox.. and my bucs are 5-0 , I forgot how realistic this game is.. and it's better then Madden 10 (yes I've played madden 10)
The only thing is the graphics.. I'm use to the current gen graphics and it hurts my eyes to play this on my HDTV, but like a true gamer says.. Gameplay > Graphics =P
